BOSTON – The Massachusetts Port Authority, alongside a number of mutual aid partners, held an emergency response exercise today at Logan International Airport. The drill is required every three years by the FAA. The purpose of the drill is to test the coordination, communication and response in the event of a major incident at Logan Airport. A number of our mutual aid partners will also take part in the drill, including Boston Fire, Boston EMS, private ambulance companies, State Police, FBI and the NTSB.
